Authorities say around midnight Saturday they were alerted of the home invasion just East of Breckenridge on Highway 210.
A K-9 unit chased a suspect for more than half a mile into a cornfield before losing him.

Self defense is the last line due to legal reasons because you cant do anything but call the police when they arent on the property.
