Two men from Hudson, Wis. are in jail, accused of breaking into a home, assaulting a man with a machete and injuring a woman.
St. Cloud police are looking for the suspects who entered a north side residence late Monday but left when the occupants called police.
Nobody was injured in the burglary, which happened at about 8:35 p.m. in the 700 block of 26th Avenue North. The residents there reported that two or three people forced their way in and fled when police were called.

Neighbors reported seeing two men enter a home on Van Buren Avenue South in Hopkins around 5:45 p.m. Then they heard screaming.
About 9 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report of a home invasion in the 4500 block of Douglas Avenue. Residents there told police that three black men entered the home through an unlocked door, "used force against the residents and demanded money," according to a information bulletin sent to Neighborhood Watch members.
The suspects had fled by the time police arrived. However, a search of the surrounding area with help from a police dog turned up loaded guns the robbers apparently discarded, the bulletin said.
