A St. Cloud resident reported early Friday that someone demanding money tried to break into his home.
A resident of the 100 block of 16th Avenue South said he was awakened by banging at his front door, Sgt. Lloyd Orth said. The homeowner confronted a man who was standing outside his front door and who had broken a window pane on the door. The man demanded money.
