A 39-year-old Coon Rapids man was awakened shortly after 4 a.m. May 10 to find two white males in his house on the 12000 block of Alder Street N.W.
But according to the Coon Rapids Police report, when he tried to detain them, one of them assaulted him with a wine bottle.
There are no details, but I'm glad the vicious little punks were caught immediately.

Ok first of all they are not vicious punks. You have no clue who they are. I personally know these boys and they made a stupid choice but you have no right saying they are vicious yes they made a mistake and they are paying for it.. But you are not the judge and jury so get your facts straight before you start name calling.
I hate to break it to you, but if the kids broke into a house(they did) while the owner was home(he was) and attacked him with a wine bottle(they did), they are vicious punks.

A violent home invasion is not a stupid choice. It's a felony committed by people with no respect for other people's lives or property. Their actions speak louder than the protestations of any number of people they've managed to snow.
you don't anything about these guys, their not just some vicious punks, it was the wrong place wrong time, those idiots shouldn't have left their garage door unlocked, it's not like they picked a lock, they deserved to be robbed, i think they forget to say that the guy put him in a headlock til he passed out that's not detaining, that's attempted murder.

For the thugs. The place was someone else's home, the time was 'when they didn't own it'. They shouldn't have been there. Everything that happened from there is the fault of the thugs. Period.

Nobody deserves to get robbed. Nobody deserves to have their home invaded. Nobody deserves to be attacked in their home by vicious(yes, vicious) punks with no respect for life or property.
