While allegedly attempting to break into a residence in the Ottertail mobile home court, 18-year-old Koal Timothy Shamp was shot in the hip by the resident of the home.

St. Cloud police officers met Friday with a 52-year-old St. Cloud resident who reported being assaulted and robbed inside his apartment by three unknown males.
Police say one man took cash from the victim’s pocket while another held the victim and another punched him.

Kwame Mohammed Kiwanuka was arrested at a residence in the 400 block of Lime Street after a man there reported someone who broke into his house had threatened him.
The man said he heard someone enter his house. He went to investigate after hearing a noise in the back yard.

A Fergus Falls man has been charged with two counts of first degree burglary after kicking down the door of a local home last week.
Authorities say Troy Macheel, 34, broke down the door of a home on 19th Street, then threatened residents with a door jamb when they attempted to called police.
